Happy Post-Holiday. Here's to hoping that if you're at work today, you're reading comics like most everyone else.

I know I've talked about the Frogs before -- the um, unique eMessages that my company asked me to make for our clients, etc.

This year, like last year, we have done an electronic holiday card. Only this time, I'm not askerd to show y'all. Sure, it's still a Marketing piece with a capital M, but at least it's not too* embarrassing.

HoHoHo from SCG.

It all begins tomorrow. It's fun, it's hectic, but it's fun.

I'm ... almost there. If I don't get a chance to later -- Happy Holidays to everyone.

Full swing into the holiday crud. Why so early you say? Because my parents arrive from St. Louis in about two weeks. It's great to see them, but it also means I've got 14 days until my social calendar is completely booked, plus the house needs to get cleaner than it's been all year.

As usual, I'm trying to do a lot of shopping online. It's my third year at it and it really is a godsend. Of course, when the weird large packages come to the office, people kind of wonder.

Here's the latest online place I'm liking for all my girl and girlie gifts.

Oh, hey, our friends Jim & Libby had their baby. You can see Jack at with the secret codes of: Hospital ID #2062
Baby ID #500481
Mother's First Name: Elizabeth

So it's into the holiday season, and it's snowing, and I've been busy at work and at home. The net result? No text for y'all. Unfortunately, there probably won't be a whole lot of it until after Christmas. Unless, I join the ranks of laid off friends o' mine. Speaking off, is quite funny.

If you're antsy for reading material, I usually check out Border Pilot. It's an online book and I'm about half way through it. Again, its a little bonus from Dave. Unspeakably Stupid Stories is good too, if you don't have the attention span for a novel.

Dave pointed this one out and I'm very fond of it -- Cleaning the Fucking Kitchen for Dummies. I, fortunately, don't have quite so piggy a "flat-mate".

Hey, David deYoung has gotten quite a few of his tunes up on He's a fun and funny local musician, so you should check out his tunes and his connections on Minnie-Apolis.

More Gigs

For out of town gigs, check the calendar... road trip, anyone?

Hey, just in case you forgot, election day is coming soon -- next Tuesday to be precise. It uh, wouldn't hurt to um, vote.

A wealth of voting & election info is available at the League of Women Voters (MN) site.
